Fundo para Investigação em Saúde
The Portuguese National Authority of Medicines and Health Products - INFARMED - is a Government agency accountable to the Health Ministry. Its objective is to monitor, assess and regulate all activities relating to human medicines and health products for the protection of Public Health.
Nonetheless, INFARMED has also published a call with a capital base of one million euros, intended to finance activities and research projects directed toward the protection, promotion and improvement of human health, particularly in the areas of clinical research, basic and translational research, with potential interest clinical or therapeutic and research in public health and health services, particularly in preventive and therapeutic interventions - Fundo para a Investigação em Saúde.
The main focus is to promote clinical research in the areas of Cancer, Diabetes and Cerebro-Cardiovascular diseases, funding projects up to 130 000€, so be sure to apply!
